Yesterday N's godmother, Season, came by to celebrate his birthday a few days early with him.  She's leaving town later this week for work and won't be able to see him on his actual birthday so he got to practice opening presents today with her.

Even W got to open up a gift!  A swimming tub monkey!

She brought some of the coolest and most unique gifts I've ever seen!  There were five gifts for N's five years.  She did, however, make it clear that this was the only time that the whole "same number of presents as your age" rule would apply.  The biggest hit of the day was the excavating kit.  N and Season pretended to be archaeologists as they dug to uncover hidden bones!  N just kept asking if he looked like a real bone digger.  We of course, told him yes!
