Mommypalooza

Being a single parent would be hard.

I have to give props to those single moms & dads out there. For the past few days I have been EXHAUSTED from taking care of the kids while my hubby has had strep throat. Thankfully, he is on the mend now and we're just trying to ward off colds that one of the kids seems to have gotten somehow. From toting them to an from their various ball games out in the heat (not that I am complaining because I LOVE heat!!), to figuring out how to get them bathed, fed, and put to bed by myself, I am just so tired!

I can't imagine having to do this parenting thing all by my lonesome. My biggest pat on the back to those of you that do it day in and day out.

Here's to another busy week here for us! Hope it's a great one for all of you!

    You hit the nail on the head. I think the hardest thing for me to deal with would be that I couldn’t go out and do the things I like to do later (grocery shop, haircut) after the kids are in bed would have to be squeezed into the day. With them.

    My SIL is a single mom of three. She survives with a support network of friends and family who are there to help her on a regular basis. It definitely isn’t easy.
