>Bacon and Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers Recipe

I love appetizers. Sometimes I even love them more than a good meal. These recipe for Farmland® Bacon and Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers are the perfect go-to game-day appetizer that everyone will love.

There are a few reasons why I opt for using Farmland® bacon in my recipes. First off, Farmland® bacon is slow smoked over real hardwoods for maximum flavor. It's amazing that for decades, Farmland® has taken pride in perfecting their curing and smoking technique – it's definitely a difference you’ll taste in every delicious bite.

If your house is anything like mine, bacon is a highly coveted! My kiddos always seem to love everything that I make if it incorporates bacon. And how can I blame them? It's so versatile, delicious, and easy to prepare and integrate into many everyday foods.

 Farmland® Bacon and Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • one dozen fresh jalapenos, halved and seeded
  • one 8 oz container whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 12 oz package of Farmland® Bacon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare package of Farmland® Bacon as directed on package. Set aside. In a medium sized mixing bowl, mix together the whipped cream cheese, garlic powder, and shredded cheese. Spoon mixture into prepared jalapenos. Crumble up the cooked Farmland® Bacon and sprinkle on top of jalapenos. Place the jalapenos on a foil lined baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes until desired temperature is reached.

Place onto your favorite serving platter and watch them disappear as your guests devour every scrumptious bite!
