As many of you know, David plays poker online quite frequently, and he’s pretty damn good. Yesterday, he informed me that he won a “tournament” on Ultimate Bet. Well, he wins tournaments a couple of times a week, so i was thinking it was the usual $50 or $100 prize money. (which, don’t get me wrong, is not chump change)

So, imagine the look on my face when he told me it was a $1,200 win!! I thought he was kidding, then i realized he was serious! The last time he won that kind of money was February of this year. He so generously gave me $1,000 of his then $1,600 win to spend on pampering my friends for my 30th birthday. We all had a blast.

I can’t believe he won that much money!! Not bad for 4 hours of work, huh? So we’ve been toying around with what we’d do with the money. I told him it was his win, so he should do whatever he wants and of course he turned right around and said it was our money and that he wants me to help decide. Awwww, how sweet (yeah right, i’ll pay for that later!) My suggestion was to buy n8’s new bedroom furniture or a new matress for our bed (can you tell i am not sleeping well already?) So, we’ll see what we decide to do. At any rate, we’ll be having one heck of a New Year’s Eve party! 🙂
