So last night while at a meeting, my friend Maggie was holding Will and commented that he felt a little warm. I didn’t think anything of it. We finally got home at about 9 PM and I realized the he indeed did feel hot. I took his temp and lo and behold he was 100 degrees warm! I had also noticed that he was especially drooly yesterday and this morning it finally dawned on me that it must be the teething!

He was up every. single. hour. last night and nursing wasn’t helping much. He just couldn’t get settled. It’s 11 a.m. and I finally have him down for a nap after giving him some Hyland’s teething tablets (what a godsend!) and tylenol. His temp was only around 99 this morning but I thought it might make him sleep a little better as well. Poor thing. I also was feeling around in his mouth while giving him the teething tabs and can tell that the teeth are definitely closer to breaking through than they were just a few days ago. Can’t wait for him to get them in. Partly because I want this whole sleepless-nights-during-teething to be done with but also partly because I want him to be one step closer to sharing that steak dinner with me.
