YAY! Summer has officially arrived today. I am so stoked although I know it will whizz by and we'll be sporting our wool coats and gloves way too soon. Ironically, instead of enjoying the stinkin' hot weather today, I've spent most of my afternoon purging and cleaning the basement out. I've been working on our play area down there for some time, although I guess I need to get rid of all the alcohol just sitting on the bar before we actually have kiddos down there unsupervised. I was able to put the boys down for a nap at about 4 pm and have been down there for two hours until Will just woke up. I went through our large closet with built-ins down there and purged so many books….why on earth do we have so many?? I was able to divy them up by category:

• Textbooks
• Nonfiction
• Golf books
• Reference
• Fiction
• Computers

You would not BELIEVE how many textbooks we have. We had more books in that category than any other. But, I am sorry I just couldn't bring myself to part with my Pubic Relations textbook or any of my Com Studies books. I am sure David wants to hang on to his Economic policy and Math for Engineers book as well. (go figure!) Anyway, now all of our books are easy to find and are all sorted, nice and neat. I also came across People Magazine's collector edition of "All Time Best Weddings" magazine that was published in 2000. Guess who was on the cover? Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston – too bad that wedding was all for not. I decided to keep the collector mag….but maybe I should sell it on ebay, after all, why the hell do I care about celebrity weddings? I totally must've picked that up because I was planning my own wedding at the time.
