I’ve finally got the basement fit for human life. I am so thrilled with the results and although I still have some ideas for decorating the space, for now it’s awesome! The boys and I have been going down there several times a day to play and hang out for about the past week or so, since I’ve completed it.

It’s great because I have a computer down there as well as my own craft/workspace, and the kids have lots of toys and room to play. On Saturday Nathan helped me put together the little Pirate Ship thing from Little Tikes that we’ve had in the garage since forever! Now it’s in the basement and they are enjoying using it.

I should also mention that there’s a WELL-stocked bar down there in case I get thirsty! It’s so great…I now LOVE, LOVE, LOVE going down to my basement!

My next major overahaul project – my bedroom closet!
