This evening I came home after spending my weekend with my fellow Sisters In Christ at our Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) retreat. This weekend was the single most awe-inspiring time of my life. I am deeply humbled and honored at the events that transpired and at all of the emotion and renewal that I felt as the weekend progressed. I truly know now why some of my friends who had previously gone to the retreat could not put into words anything about the experience even when I asked pressing questions about what to expect. It is just simply indescribable.

Knowing that God called me at this specific time in my life to take part in such an incredible growth process with so many wonderful women, is so overwhelming to me. I have taken so much from the weekend that I cannot wait to be able to give and share the same experience with the group that we will put the retreat on for this upcoming Spring. I cannot wait for a new batch of unsuspecting souls to go through the beauty of all that CRHP has to offer.

I walked out of the church doors this evening with a completely different mindset than when I walked in Saturday morning. I am renewed, inspired, humbled, honored, and grateful to every single soul who played a part in this joyous experience for me. I would urge anyone who has the opportunity to attend a CRHP retreat to not walk, but RUN your application to the church office! I personally promise, it will be a decision you will have never regretted making. You will only come to realize how lost you were before this wonderful experience came into your life. Thank you to my WONDERFULLY loving, caring, and sweet husband who made this entire life-changing experience possible by taking such good care of our family while I was away!
