Happy birthday to my little Will-Pill who turns 2 years old today! Here’s a great shot of him just waking up on the morning of his 2nd birthday:
Today we headed back to Epcot to get the kids’ autograph books signed and also because we were going to ride the monorail to have dinner for Will’s birthday.
We all got to take a pic with Mickey at the character greeting place
and the kids also saw Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and Goofy.
We also attended a fun game show about Velcro and we Nathan and I were picked out of the audience for one of the games! We were going up against a father/daughter team in a race. Basically, Nathan had to velcro as many items as he could within 60 seconds and stick them to my lovely velcro poncho. The game was hysterically fun and I am happy to report we WON! I think I had 6 or 7 items on me and the other team only had 4 or 5. We walked away with a cool blue ribbon sticker as the champions!
We had late dinner reservations at Chef Mickey’s but decided we’d try and get there right when they opened at 5 p.m. to see if we could get in sooner. We arrived at the Contemporary resort a little early so while we waited for the restaurant to open, Nathan and I checked out the gift shop.

After some [almost] begging at to the hostess, she decided we could be seated right away! The restaurant was great! All of the characters came out in chef attire and did some cheering and singing for those kids who were celebrating birthdays. The food was good and we all enjoyed ourselves.
When dinner was over we headed back to Magic Kingdom to ride, you guessed it, Buzz Lightyear – again! For those of you wondering, YES, the ride is that good! Since Magic Kingdom was open till 11 p.m. we decided to take in Mickey’s PhilharMagic and stay till just about closing time. We also managed to pick up a cute hat for Will’s birthday present:
I know Will had a magical birthday and it was pretty darn fun for the rest of us, too!
