Five things.

Here are my Five Things for today.  As part of my new blog editorial calendar, Five Things will now be  a regular on Fridays.

  • I've made mutiple trips to one of my favorite stores this past week and each time I've run into a friend from church there.  What a good feeling it is to see friends out and about unexpectedly.  Don't you just love it when that happens?
  • D and I enjoyed breakfast this past week at this lovely place and one of the things I absolutely adore about it is that they serve your drinks with a little carafe so you can refill at your leisure.  How charming!
  • With the kids still on their Texas vacation, I've been sleeping in waaaay more than a mom ought to!  (But, damn, I'm loving it!)
  • I'm gearing up to be a speaker for a local business group on the topic of Blogging for Business, which I am totally stoked about!
  • D and I have resorted to using some of our kids' phrases with each other because we miss them so darn much!  I sometimes have to remind myself at night that they aren't just upstairs asleep in their rooms.  It's amazing how quiet the house has been over the past week and a half!

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!  Have a safe and fun one!

Mmmm. The menu at that restaurant sounds SO delicious. I think I’ll make my own “Le Egg Sandwich” today! You’d love the restaurants here because water and wine are usually ordered in carafes (they’re cheaper than bottles, too). Good thing the boys are coming back soon!!

OMG: There’s a Le Peep near us (Plano). Joe and I have eaten there too and we love it. I didn’t know it was a chain restaurant.
    The food was absolutely delicious.
