The past couple of days, and today in particular, have been spent prepping my home for Halloween and fall decor.  Not that I am super excited about this time of year, but I realize I can't fight it.  The time is coming.  Ironically, although I detest fall and winter, I actually enjoy decorating the house and getting it themed up for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

I've dusted, cleaned, and cleared the floors of toys and random other junk so it's just a matter of time before the kids and I get to dig into our orange and black.  I also managed to pick up a bag of candy corn the other day at the store.  I meant to also buy the Halloween themed Hershey's kisses, but realized when I got home that they were the Hershey's candy corn kisses.  Have you even heard of such a thing?  I had no idea those actually existed.  Oh, well.  Another great reason to head back to the store and buy more chocolate.  After all, I've got to get the right kind!
