Wow. It's October 1st, already. Although it's not exactly my favorite time of year, the kids have been having a ball pointing out the many signs of fall while we're out driving around town seeing all the yellow and red leaves on trees.
But despite the cooler temps, I am looking forward to a few things this fall and in particular, this month. Halloween is actually one of my favorite holidays, ranking right up there with Valentine's Day.
We're looking forward to N's class field trip to the local pumpkin patch and to check out a corn maze, which I know N is just going to love. I am also looking forward to getting the kids' photos taken this fall since it's been a while since they've had professional photos done. I'm looking forward to doing lots of fun crafts and projects for the season, too. D and I also have sponsor invites to attend Hilloween, a fantastic fundraising event for a local non-profit facility.
And, in other things worth mentioning, I've recently been named an "expert" on Wishpot. I'm not sure what their criteria is for selecting experts, but I'm sure I've done nothing deserving of the title. At any rate, I'll take it with pride! As anyone who knows me well, knows that I love to make lists, and Wishpot is the ultimate list-making online tool. So, be sure to hop on over and take a looksie at my Halloweenapalooza ultimate must-have list for Halloween.
Happy Fall, all!
