Yesterday we began our two-week countdown till Nathan officially starts Kindergarten. He's ready. I'm totally ready. But, not emotionally. I'm excited at the thrill of him finally delving into "real" school, as he calls it and excited at the possibilities for him. He's super-smart, super-social (hmm, wonder where he gets all that from?!), and super-excited!
School supplies were bought early last month so we've been all set with those. We've still got a few other uniform shorts to pick up and of course, new shoes, socks and undies. Recently I've stumbled upon a few great reads for back-to-school sanity. Thought I'd share them with you in hopes they'll inspire you and keep you distracted (as they have me) from the real emotion of having to let my baby go soon.
- I'll totally be creating a space like this one noted on Simplify 101 for homework and such.
- This back-to-school printable checklist by MomAgenda will help keep you focused on what needs to get done before the big day!
- I'm an organizing freak and LOVE calendars, both online & off! Mom Advice has a really good post on best picks for getting (and staying) organized this school year.
- Here are some really great finds for back-to-school. I especially love the School Years organizer by MomAgenda.
Do you have any favorite picks or must-haves for back-to-school season? ♥
