My sweet little baby Jacob has taken to sucking and chewing, and well, downright devouring his little fists and fingers lately. He loves to just sit and suck on his two little fingers – the index & middle ones – and then pull them out of his mouth all slathered with spit. Yes he's still a baby but still – spit is SPIT! Ewww! He's constantly got little wet hands and then tries to grab onto my fingers with them. And then there's the gagging. No, he hasn't yet learned that shoving his fingers down his throat isn't a good idea. I'm not sure if he'll be a thumb sucker or not but I can ONLY hope at this point. ♥
Oooh….Ryan is about 2 weeks older than Jacob I think? He has started sucking on more than his pacifier lately, too… he likes to suck on his blanket…one in particular…and it is SO GROSS when I get up in the middle of the night and his blankie is soggy…ewww is exactly right!
Yep, Jacob gets a hold of his blankies too sometimes and does it! That, and the carseat cover. Gross!!
