Dear Jakey,

You are NINE months old today! How on earth did my Twitter baby suddenly reach nine months old?  And, what's more is you're on the move.  Just yesterday Daddy and I had to lower your crib mattress because you have started to stand up in your crib when you want out and I'm so deathly afraid of you somersaulting over onto the floor that I rush in there at the slightest little noise you make. 

You make me smile each and every day.  You've got FIVE teeth now and are enjoying the full-on experience of FOOD!! To date you've enjoyed peas, carrots, corn, chicken, beef, broccoli, sweet potatoes, avocado, bananas, apples, plum, and probably a few other things.  Oh, how could I forget your Cheerios.  You're digging those too.

I'm amazed at how friggin' tough you are, kiddo!  Your two older brothers always have you in stitches giggling or poking and prodding you.  You are SUCH an easy, go-with-the-flow baby.  But, I deserve it. After your two older brothers who were quite needy, I'm excited that you've come to rescue me from mommy madness!

I love hearing you yell out "ma-ma-ma-ma-ma" and "ba-ba-ba-ba" and that little squeal you do and puppy dog-like pant when you are excited!  You've also still continued to do your "monster voice" as I call it where you make disturbing "GRRRRR" sounds.  But, it's become sort of a game and I am getting used to it!

You're on the move now too which means your older brothers have had to move their Lego stash and some other toys they were used to having out strewn all over the place.  Having a mobile baby has its perks!  The toys you love most are your "Hulky" (incredible Hulk teether toy), your light-up seahorse (which I happen to always refer to as your "glo-worm"), and you love your Jack-in-the-Box!

Oh how boring and unfulfilling life would be without you Jacob! I'm blessed you are mine to borrow in this life!  Happy 9 months!
