I was recently approached with the opportunity to partner and work with TheMotherhood for Libby’s in an effort to get families back to the table, and to help raise awareness about their virtual food drive to help hungry Americans. I immediately jumped on board!
I look forward to our family dinners nightly and sometimes I don't know how we manage to pull it off amidst all the craziness our family schedule brings! I think it's wonderful that kids know about food drives and helping the hungry. I love that our school and church does these regularly and encourages the kids to bring in their food donations. What a worthy cause!
This Thursday I will be having lunch with some of my favorite local Kansas City bloggers to share more about this very subject. We'll also be assembling dinner kits for a local charity and exchanging ideas about ways that work for us to get our families back to the dinner table together.
I'm excited to share with you, my readers, all the great ideas that come from the luncheon about tips you can use to help get your family back to the dinner table. I'll also be hosting a fun giveaway associated wit this event!
I would be so grateful if you would consider clicking that big Libby’s button in my right sidebar to help support my virtual food drive. Your donation to the virtual canned food drive is matched by Libby’s. Just $5 provides 35 meals for someone less fortunate. Please do what you can to help the hungry in your community.
I look forward to sharing more with you about this charitable effort in the coming days. In the meantime, what kind of strategies/tips do you have to share that would help other moms bring their families back to the dinner table?
