Today was my first attempt at making homemade tortillas. Ever. Since chicken soft tacos and homemade rice is on the menu for tonight, I figured I'd give it a go at making my own tortillas instead of using store bought ones that are "Ewww!" at best.
I was certain they wouldn't turn out nearly as good as my mama's but I don't think I did too badly. The hardest part was rolling them out into circular shapes, like a tortilla should be. Most of them came out like little square-head robots but they are edible so I hope no one complains! Here's my very first tortilla:

Yeah, I think they came out ok. We'll see how dinner turns out tonight! At any rate, it was fun to try out. I defnitely see myself making these again!

Thanks! I really don’t like to cook…but I do love to eat and I knew taco night without tortillas would NOT go over well! 🙂
