This past week has been a week of rearranging, improvising, and going with the flow. My mom was originally going to come for a brief visit this past weekend but instead changed her plans to next weekend, so my dinner plans were a little thrown off. Oh well. It happens. I am just SO super excited she’s actually coming this weekend instead because the hubs and I will get to nurture our social lives! We’re invited to two grown-up parties – one on Friday with the parents of the Kindergarteners, which is being hosted by our good friends. The other is a throwback party that one of my best friends is hosting at her place. Saturday night will be oodles o’ fun and I canNOT wait! All of my besties will be there and we’ll be partying like it’s mid-1990s. Seriously.
So, here’s the din-din plans for this week. Feel free to link your own up, too!
Monday: Grilled hamburgers, potato salad.
Tuesday: OUT – Tuesdays are our usual take-out night since we’re so dern busy from right after school into the evenings. Thank goodness it only lasts through the Fall season!
Wednesday: Crock pot pineapple chicken, fried rice, steamed broccoli.
Thursday: Baked spaghetti casserole, salad.
Friday: Grammy’s choice for the kids since she’ll be watching them while hubs and I enjoy a catered party for Kindergarten parents.
Saturday: Taking my hubs out to dinner before we get our party on with our best friends!
Sunday – Tacos, homemade Spanish rice.
