And talk about smart!  One of the coolest features I love about my Droid Bionic is the ZumoCast app which allows me to access all of my laptop photos, videos, and documents remotely on my phone.  SO cool!!  Well, the Motorola Droid RAZR is taking it even one step further.  With the new MotoCast™ app, you can access all of those remote documents on any other connected device seamlessly.  Yep, that's right. What this means is that you have access to all of those files on your computer and don't have to go through a standalone app to access them either. Sa-weeet!


Another great feature that moms can appreciate is the capability to set "Smart Actions" with this phone.  What does this mean?  In short it will enable you to set various actions based on environments or threshholds that you preset on your phone.  For example, let's say you volunteer up at the kids' school computer lab every Monday morning (like I do) and want your phone to be set to "vibrate" or "silent mode" automatically.  This can be set up on the new Motorola Droid RAZR via the Smart Actions app which can tell your phone to turn off once you reach a particular location (detected via GPS).  Another example of a trigger that can be set is let's say you receive a missed call from a specific number, your phone can automatically send you an email alerting you so that you don't forget to return the call!  Seriously — genius!

And finally, one of my most favorite features about this phone include the smart 8 megapixel camera that launches from the lock screen!  You know how big this is!  Think of all those times you've reached for your phone to snap a quick pic only to have the shot long gone by the time you get out of your home screen and get the camera app going.  That will never happen with THIS smart phone! 

Add to all this HD video capture, image stabilization for less blurry photos, a front-facing HD webcam, and  – ding, ding, ding – we have  a winner!

  36. The scratch-resistant glass is a great feature. I have a bad habit of tossing my phone in my purse with a lot of pointy objects. Knowing that the glass is protected would make me feel much better.

  60. I would want to win this for my fiance so what would make his life easier is the speed. While he’s off at work he doesn’t have a whole lot of time and the phone would definetly be alot easier than pulling out his laptop. The durability is a huge plus too.

  104. Being able to have internet access would make my life easier. The phone I have is prehistoric. If there’s anything I need to look up, I have to wait until I get home to my computer to do so.

  124. The one feature of the DROID RAZR i would enjoy most is the 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot.It will make my life easier because i can connect most of my Wi-Fi devices to it wirelessly & can use each others resources. 🙂

My son lives in New Orleans and we’re in Cleveland…he won’t be coming home for the holidays but I’d love the 8mp camera and HD video features for taking pictures and sending him videos so he doesn’t feel so far away on Christmas. The RAZR has better megapixels than my current Canon camera has. I love that you can upload photos and video directly to YouTube and Facebook right from the phone.

    I’d say the fact that it’s so thin and light and built very well would tip the odds of me liking the device in its favor. I always can find a use for a phone that doesn’t take too much space in my pockets.

    A reliable network and 4G could keep me on top of the material professors send me be being able to access it from my phone.
