While Disneyworld certainly has rides and attractions for EVERY age group, we – like many families – have faves of our own. And that favorite would be . . .
Yep, you got it — Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! This is my mom pictured with my oldest, Nathan, back in 2007 — our first Disney family trip. Neither of us could get enough of the Buzz Lightyear ride!!
And, not much changed during our subsequent Disney visits.
This is the one ride that we literally could ride over and over again. In fact, I remember doing just that during our last Disney vacation. The kids love being able to go through the fun journey of blasting the different robots and creatures. But what I love about this ride is that the adults have just as much fun as the kids and it is a truly gender neutral attraction. There’s something about that adrenaline rush that comes from the “blip, bleep, blip, bleep” that sounds each time your shoot at something and all of the wonderful neon and bright colors throughout the ride. If you were to ask my kids what their favorite ride at Disney, they would undoubtedly answer the “Buzz Lightyear ride”. I hope that as a family, we never outgrow this attraction!
What’s your favorite ride or attraction at Disney?
This is also a favorite in our house. My son scored 999,999 last year and he’s hoping to do it again this year. As you said, the interactive family nature of this ride is priceless. It is also a great place to hang out when it is raining in the MK.
oh we loved that ride, but the fast pass was the only way to do it and even then we only had time to ride it once. wish they had some way to make it faster to get into loved it.
My family’s favorite is the Disney Garden Festival. it’s so much fun.
