Disneynature's newest feature, Chimpanzee, opens today – April 20th - just in time for Earth Day. This new film will take you and your family on a journey into the African forests with a young chimpanzee, Oscar, who gives moviegoers an exciting look into his playful curiosity about his surroundings.
The story finds Oscar and his fellow young chimpanzees, who’d rather stay busy making mayhem than join their parents for an afternoon nap. But when Oscar’s family is confronted by a rival band of chimpanzees, he is left to fend for himself until a surprising ally steps in and changes his life forever.
This film is rated G and will be out in theaters April 20, 2012.

I am always trying to get my kids to watch and read more non-fiction movies and books for entertainment and I could totally see them being enthralled by this cute movie. Plus, the voice of Tim Allen (remember that show Home Improvement from back in the day?!) serves as the narrator for the film. If you are interested in finding out more about Chimpanzee, you can:
