Monsters, Inc. is one of my family’s all-time favorite Disney movies.  When my oldest son, Nathan, was younger, he’d say to us “I wanna watch movie monsters!”, which – in toddlerspeak – meant Monsters, Inc. of course!

Now that he’s all grown up – at the ripe old age of 8 and a half, I’m sure he’ll be equally as excited to see Monsters University, the new Disney/Pixar flick that is set to be released in June of 2013.  We all know Mike & Sully to be an unlikely pair of best friends, but how did they overcome their differences in personality to become such great buddies?  This movie will take us all waaay back and show us how it all started — how Mike & Sully became best friends!  Awwww!!

My other two boys will also be SO excited about this movie! I’ll also be asking them for their input when we vote on our favorite Mike sleep-talking line over on the official Monsters University Facebook Page. The winning line will be drawn up by a Pixar artist and shared EXCLUSIVELY with the fans of Monsters University

I’m not sure I can wait one whole YEAR to tell them about it!  I suppose the movie trailer sneak peeks will have to do for now.  I hope you enjoy them!  And, I’d love to know — which of the Monsters do you identify with more — Mike or Sully?

I adored this first movie so much! My son had speech issues when he was little and could barely speak. BUT, this movie was the one thing he would actually request – with words! It will forever be one of my favorites!

Hahaha! Love your disclosure! And I am a Disney fanatic as well! I’m not as crazy about Pixar but I see them all because they are Disney-enough. I’m really excited to see this but I’ve gotta focus on the present first… Brave!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Going to see it next week. Excited!
