review: Honey Bunches of Oats Greek Honey Crunch

We’ve always got cereal stocked in this house, but most of the time they are my kids’ favorite brands.  I was excited to finally try the new Honey Bunches of Oats Greek Honey Crunch cereal when given the opportunity recently.

I’ve become a huge fan of Greek yogurt in recent months and I already love the Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, so combining the two just seemed like a cool combo.  I am happy to report that after incorporating it into my breakfast recently, I’m officially a fan!  I really enjoy the crunchiness factor it provides {even when in milk!} and the sweet but subtle taste of the cereal.  It’s satisfying without being overly sweet.

This new Honey Bunches of Oats Greek Honey Crunch is made with two unique granolas
made with Greek yogurt, crispy whole grain flakes and a touch of honey. With 33
grams of Whole Grains, one bowl provides over two-thirds of your day’s Whole
Grains.

Even my kids are now reaching their little hands into the box and grabbing handfuls.  One of the things that’s also great about this cereal is that I’ve been able to use it as a school snack for my kids.  I like that each 1 cup serving is only 230 calories and gives 5 grams of protein.  It’s easily transported in backpacks and the kids love having it to munch on during their snack time.

Here are some other nutritional facts about this cereal:

  • 33g of Whole Grain per serving – over 2/3 your day’s whole grain
  • Serving Size: 1 Cup
  • 230 Calories
  • Provides 12 essential vitamins and minerals
  • 5g protein per serving
