Recently, I shared my thoughts on raising responsible drivers and the Celebrate My Drive campaign with State Farm.  

Through the Celebrate My Drive initiative, high schools in the United States can compete for the opportunity to win a $100,000 grant for their high school.  In addition, the winning school would celebrate with a concert featuring Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson.  State Farm is making 100 grants available and has 2 concerts to award as part of this promotion.

The Celebrate My Drive Campaign is aimed at bringing awareness about and encouraging Teen Driver Safety.  Here’s how it works:

Check to see if your local high school is registered by visiting the Celebrate My Drive Website and entering your school’s information.  Any school can be registered easily by school administrators. Upon registering, your school will be eligible to compete for the grants or concerts that are going to be awarded.  

Then, during the week of October 18-26, invite everyone you know to visit the website again to make safe driving commitments on behalf of your high school.  With every commitment made, you increase your school’s chances of winning a grant or a concert with Kelly Clarkson.  Another very cool thing is that State Farm agents will be also be hosting student-focused events across North America.
