This post is a little overdue but i’ve been working on it some, thus the delay.

Will at 4 months!

With these hot August nights, we’ve moved from having to be bundled everywhere we go to just chillin’ out barefoot.

Some new things i’ve discovered this month about you, Will:

• You LOVE to stand!! When on the lap of just about anyone you’ll use those strong thighs to push up on your feet and lock your knees. Standing is a most comfortable position for you, with of course, me ensuring you don’t lose your balance and topple over!
• You’re LOVING your toes. You grab at them and just hold on for minutes at a time. I absolutely adore this about you!
• You definitely know how to scream. I especially love that midway through crying (like while in the car) if you don’t get me to pull over and give you some TLC, you will immediately change pitch into a very “Mariah Carey-like” yelp. Very fun to hear.
• Tickling is still your favorite game to play, especially on cheeks and neck and now in the thigh area.
• Your brother can now make you literally laugh out loud like a jolly ol’ fellow. It’s usually while he’s playing “run” or pretending to fall down in the middle of the family room. You just sit up and follow his every move with your eyes and giggle at every move he makes.
• LOL Part II – Daddy and Nathan have both managed to figure out that sneezing makes you laugh too. Occassionally they’ll start their fake sneezing spells to get you to flash those dimples and it works every time. You also seem to laugh at me when I actually AM sneezing.
• You’re still not okay with car rides for the most part.
• You’ve had to hear our quite common phrase around here, “Take a chill pill, Will!” when you’re not happy.
• This next one is an understatement, seriously: You are still extremely chatty, especially in church, during Mommy’s bible study groups, while i am on the phone, etc….hmmm…wonder who you get that from?
• Your teeth are just achin’ to break through those gums. You are drooling like a madman and I can visually see chunks of white in your mouth about to fully debut any day now. You are definitely showing an interest in wanting table food as you drool anytime your Daddy, Nathan or I eat anything even remotley appetizing. I know it won’t be too long before I can enjoy chowin’ down on some steak with you!
• You did amazingly well during your first haircut during this past month and are already in need of another! You still get the “oh my gosh, look at all that HAIR!” gasps everywhere we go.
• Your adjustment into our crazy family and routine has been amazing. You are one great baby!
