We celebrated D’s birthday today so you know what that meant.  CUPCAKES!  We set out to find cupcakes this morning since N had a very clear picture of what kind of cupcakes he wanted for his Dad.  He clearly described them as needing to be Incredible Hulk and other superhero themed cupcakes.  We didn’t exactly find what he had in mind but we were able to get some extra accessories from the lovely ladies at the Wal-Mart bakery and eventually ended up with these custom treats:

The boys enjoyed the cupcakes with D and we ended up going out for dinner later at Red Robin with D’s mom and brother.  I made it a point to let our server secretly in on the fact that we were celebrating D’s birthday so they managed to come over and make a big deal about it and gave him a free sundae!  The kids really enjoyed that part!
