There are some major chip lovers in our house, starting with me.  My three oldest boys and hubs enjoy snacking on chips as well as including them in our lunch routines.  But one thing that is not easy to do is find a chip that we love AND feel good about loving.  Enter Green Giant Veggie Snacks.

Recently I was given the opportunity to try both the sweet potato barbecue and the garden ranch veggie snacks.  Of course, I knew the barbecue would be my favorite flavor while the ranch would be my kids'.  And, I was right.

After giving them a try with our recent summer lunches, I've come up with 3 great reasons why I'll continue to stock these in our pantry here at home.

 1.  They're a healthier option:   Green Giant Veggie Snacks are packed full of 14  & 18 grams of whole grain {Barbecue & Garden Ranch flavors, respectively}, and they both have zero trans fat.  As a mom of very picky little boys this makes me feel good.  I like knowing that my kids are snacking on something that is a good choice and that it's something they can feel good about eating.

2.  They have a major crunch factor:  If there's one thing I love about a good snack, it's gotta be the crunch factor.  These veggie snacks truly are packed with lots of crunch-tastic flavor,  which for me, is a good thing.  My kids also love snack options that are crunchy.  

3.  They are tasty:  Getting to try both flavors, I've concluded that they are both packed with lots of satisfying flavor.  The Sweet Potato Barbecue {my personal fave} have a natural smoky flavor and the Garden Ranch {my kids' personal fave} have that savory ranch flavor that we all know and love so well.  When it comes to tastiness, these veggie snacks are all about it!

BONUS REASON:  I would also be remiss if I did not mention that one of the first things my kids noticed about the bag is that they also have BOX TOPS!  My kids are big on Box Tops because their school collects them.  Every quarter, the class that collects the most wins a party of some kind.  I'm sure once our two bags are empty, they'll make sure to remind me to cut the Box Tops off the packaging.
